Data protection declaration

The e-learning server operated by AGRU processes data from the registration as a User, which is entered by the Users or automatically generated during use. Below, we inform you about the nature and scope of the collection of personal data and how they are further processed.

AGRU operates a Learning Management System (LMS). The LMS collects and processes personal data. This data is used to conduct teaching and learning processes supported by the LMS. Individualization and transparency of teaching and learning interactions are of great importance in didactic processes. They enable the support and evaluation of each participant's individual learning processes. Digital-supported teaching and learning processes necessarily produce individual data that are accessible to course instructors and administration. These include:

  1. Data entered during registration (e.g., User profile).
  2. Data retrieved during authentication. Authentication occurs through login with password and username. During this authentication, data that Users have already provided are retrieved. AGRU retrieves from this data: name, first name, email address.
  3. Data generated through the use of the e-learning platform, such as the time of access to the educational offerings. This data is logged in a database and kept available for as long as necessary for the use of the e-learning platform.
  4. Data generated by User activities within the courses of the LMS. The extent and nature of the logged data depend on the design of the individual educational offerings. For example, the following are logged: type and time of solving tasks, completed learning content, conducted knowledge and competence tests, contributions to forums, and participation in workshops. In surveys not explicitly marked as "anonymous," the survey results can be attributed to the User.

These data are accessible to the administration of the LMS, partially to the User themselves, partially to superiors, and partially to the responsible persons of the respective course. They are solely used for the administration and utilization of the LMS. Statistical analysis of the datasets for optimizing the LMS and its content remains reserved.

The User can object to the storage and/or processing of their data at any time. Their data will then be promptly deleted, and the use of the online platform will no longer be possible. Contributions published by Users in forums, wikis, chats, blogs, journals, etc., within the LMS are exempt from deletion. Files provided by Users themselves remain available until the deletion of the respective course.

This privacy policy does not apply to external links offered within the LMS website. AGRU has no influence on the compliance with data protection and security regulations by other providers.
